BEDTOP

PLYWOOD, VENEER, COPPER TUBING / TABLE / 2019
BY ARTHUR HAINZ

The BEDTOP is a work solution for those who enjoy the comfort of their bed maybe a little too much. Its foldable legs allow for easy storage and slide out panels provide ample surface area for laptops, books, etc. Since its conception, its viability has only risen given current world wide circumstances, taking the “working in PJ’s” mentality to the next level.

With a high quality hardwood veneer covering a lighter, equally sturdy plywood body, the BEDTOP is sturdy enough to support any devices, books, or other miscellaneous work objects. The legs are bent out of copper tubing, swivelling in custom made hinges that stop over extension that ensure rigidity once extended. These simultaneously serve as stopping blocks for the sliding panels, preventing over-extension.
